Some books make you feel guilty, some make you ashamed, others try and fix you with a heavy dose of “you-can-do-it,” still
others are so religious they seem to have been written by a saint in a monastery or convent who has never touched real life.
Those kinds of books put an "anchor" on the soul of normal-abnormal people like you and me. Shelley Hussey has written a
book that will set you free so you can dance before a God who loves “weird” people.

Eleven years ago—or maybe it was last year— I had a nagging cough which I cured with Nyquil®: the night time, sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, fever, best-sleep-you-ever-got-with-a-cold medicine. I got to thinking—why can’t I cough up a Nyquil®-like book—one that puts the “fun” back in dysfunctional, reduces the shame and stigma of having emotional problems, while informing and inspiring at the same time?

That’s what I attempted to do with I’m Not OK.
I call it the anytime, memoir, inspirational, motivational, self-help, laughter-is-the-best-medicine book.
